Bridal Lunch Festivities

I have been patiently waiting to be able to make this post! For months I had this day planned and I can’t believe how fast time went by and our bridal lunch was finally here!

I couldn’t have had a more special and perfect day. All the people I love the most were in one place with me celebrating something I am so excited for! I originally planned this bridal lunch so that I could have a fun little celebration with all my girls and officially ask them to be my bridesmaids. Because Nathan and I still have a while to go until our wedding day, there’s a few festivities that I want to do to kind of fill in the gaps for when it seems like there’s not much we’re doing.

It was so sweet being surrounded by all these girls. We went to Seed Kitchen and Bar for lunch. I made reservations a while back and I just loved how cute and simple it was here! We were able to decorate and we just made it really simple with greenery and baby’s breath down the tables. I got the most adorable ‘love’ balloon from Target in the dollar section!

When all the girls arrived, I’m not going to lie, I was a little anxious to be hosting. I always want to make sure everyone is satisfied and entertained but it was just fine and everyone had a great time! My mom had everyone go around the table and introduce themselves and tell a embarrassing story about me or something they love about me. It was so sweet to hear people say things you don’t normally hear from them and I seriously wanted to cry hearing some of the sweet things that were said!

I enjoyed every single second of our day and I am so blessed to have such wonderful people in my life. We were missing one of my sweet friends who lives in another state so I was bummed to not have her there but happy I was able to mail her box!

So, I was able to get together with some of my favorite people and put together this little box for each one of my girls! I was collecting all my boxes from Birchbox that I got every month and I always wondered what exactly I was going to do with them. Well it dawned on me one day that I could reuse them and make them into bridesmaid boxes! So I had my sister help me wrap each box with a wrapping paper I bought from JoannWhen I saw it in the store I knew it would be perfect! I loved the roses and how simple it was. Inside the box I had bracelets, nail polish, a ring dish and a cute little soap. The nail polish I found one day when I was roaming in TJ Maxx. It came in a set of 12 so it was perfect! The gold bracelets were from Forever 21The soaps were from Etsy and I found the sweetest girl to help make them! You can check out her site hereThe other big hit was the ring dishes! They were made by a friend of mine. Here is her Facebook page. Tell her Blair sent you πŸ™‚

All the cards were made by me. I had fun designing them and making them perfect! I loved being able to finish everything off with some gold confetti pieces that I found at Target too!

I have a few surprises for the girls on the day of the wedding that I received from one of my favorite sites! You can check them out here! I can’t wait to share them with the girls! I was originally going to include them in with their boxes but I wanted to have a few surprises for the day of πŸ™‚

This is just a glimpse into the beginning of bridal festivities! I can’t wait to continue the journey and sharing everything with you!
